Port Vincent is situated on a lovely bay on the Eastern Coast of Central Yorke Peninsular in South Australia, 196 kilometres from Adelaide & 47 kilometres by sea from Outer Harbour. The park itself is situated right on the foreshore and only three minutes walk to the town’s shopping. It is an excellent, safe beach for children. Port Vincent is an ideal central location to use as a base from which to explore the Yorke Peninsula. Budget Cabins. Comprise of one large room with a double bed and one two-tier bunk. They are situated right on the beach front and have a fully self contained kitchen. (no bathroom). Bedding Hire available. Ensuite Cabin. Fully self contained cabin each having their own shower and toilet, the double bed in the main room, with some having the tiered bunk/bunks in adjacent, smaller bedroom. Fishing for shore based and offshore anglers. Crabbing for blue swimmer crabs can be done straight out front of the park. Swimming is very safe for young children for the waters are quite shallow around Pt Vincent . Boat Ramps, one adjacent to the sailing club the other at the marina. Walking Trails. Award winning walking trails, one north the other south of the town. Marine Studies Centre at the primary school adjacent to the park offers tours by arrangement during school terms and Marina facilities for long and short term berthing.
