Avoca Beach is situated on the New South Wales Central Coast, east of Gosford. It takes 1 hour via the F3 Freeway from Hornsby by car. Also a train from Hornsby to Gosford and then a bus to Avoca takes less than 2 hours. Avoca Getaway is a holiday destination for all seasons. Beachside houses are often overlooked as an option for cosy intimate winter weekend away with someone special. Being situated in the Avoca "bowl" and having a northern aspect the house is protected from the harsh southerly winds while at the same time captures the warmth of the winter sun. Winter sunsets are beautiful ....and this is the time to light the log combustion fire and open that special bottle of red wine.
