Edens history of fishing and whaling is well represented in the area and whaling has now become whale watching, one of the towns major tourist attractions from late September to December. Eden is the Southern gateway to the Sapphire Coast, situated on the magnificent Two Fold Bay and surrounded by the Ben Boyd National Park. A rugged landscape of sheltered golden sandy beaches, crystal blue water, rocky headlands and open surf beaches.
