Backpackers Newcastle and Guesthouse in Newcastle which is a lovely town on the N.S.W north coast just 2 hours from Sydney, 40 minutes from the Hunter Valley Vineyards and 45 minutes from Port Stephens, Australias Dolphin Capital. Our hostel is not opposite the noisy station but a few blocks away in a quiet side street between the main street (Hunter St) and Newcastles trendy eat-street called Beaumont Street. For your convenience we offer free pickup and drop off to the bus and train terminals (Broadmeadow Station included!). No other hostel in Newcastle is as close to the restaurants and supermarket (open 24/7) than we are! We have all the facilities that guarantee a pleasant stay! Friendly checkin with a free map to orient you to the town, fittet sheets, pillow and pillowcase on every bed and the option to borrow duvets and blankets. There is a huge, free standing recreation room with T.V. and lounges, a stainless steel kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave and gas cooking. There is also a pool table, table tennis, and coin-operated I.D.D telephone and internet. For your entertainment we also have new release videos on hand and a stereo system. There is a coin-op laundry with washing machines and dryer. The buildings come with a fully integrated fire system, snack and softdrink machines, surfboard hire, wetsuit hire and free bodyboards.
