Considering that Comfort Inn Fairways is located next to the 10th Tee of Port Kembla Golf Course, it was not too difficult. For the golfers, the course presents Illawarras best challenge and offers our guests an ideal recreation. For non-golfers, Comfort Inn Fairways has everything else to offer. The Comfort Inn Fairways fits snugly between Lake Illawarra and some of Wollongong's best beaches, yet it is close to Wollongong city with its excellent shopping facilities and wonderful multi-cultural atmosphere. Lake Illawarra is a renowned sailing haven and is a regular host to many state and national sailing titles. However, the lake also doubles as a wonderful fishing spot and, fortunately for us, is home to the succulent Lake Illawarra prawn. The Pacific Ocean is a short stroll away where the famous white sands of Port Kembla and Perkins Beaches await - along with some of the best fishing spots on the Illawarra coastline. The Illawarra hinterland is also waiting for your exploration with the coastal townships of Shellharbour and Kiama, as well as beautiful Jamberoo, Minnamurra rainforest and the Illawarra escarpment. And your day trip easily takes in the contrasts of the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands.
