Tuncurry Beach Caravan Park is an easy 3 1/2 hour drive north of Sydney in the magnificent Great Lakes district and is the perfect location for a family holiday. Nestled between the southern tip of Nine Mile Beach and Wallis Lake outlet channel, this quality tourist park offers the complete range of water activities to suit all ages. Fishing, sailing, skiing, diving, surfing, cruises or just watching dolphins play in the surf and waterways - its all here. Sport and club enthusiasts are will catered for, with a modern bowling club and world class 18 hole golf course nearby. Squash, tennis, bike hire, horse riding and bush walking activities are also very handy. BBQs and picnic areas abound in this most peaceful of holiday destinations. The Forster / Tuncurry Visitors Information Centre is open seven days a week and is located in Little Street, Forster, adjacent the lake. It conducts bookings and can provide tourist maps, tide charts and fishing guides, and information regarding local attractions, eco tours, walking tours, accommodation, activities as well as cruises relating to deep-sea fishing, dolphin-watching and whale-watching. The Pebbly Beach Bicentennial Walk commences off North St, near the ocean baths of Forster Beach. It leads eastwards over Second Head along the foreshore, between Bennetts Head Rd and the ocean, past The Tanks, through Bennetts Head Reserve and south past One Mile Beach to Burgess Beach.
