MacNicol Cottage in Ballina is a unique fully restored 2 bedroom cottage with polished timber floors and high ceilings with fans. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. MacNicol Cottage is located in central Ballina, an easy walk to the River, Beaches Clubs, Shops and restaurants. MacNicol Cottage was renovated with the Wheelchair or Mobility restricted traveller in mind and has ramp access, wide doorways and an accessible bathroom in one of the 2 queensize bedrooms. A setting of a warm friendly old cottage in a tropical garden has been maintained but with all the modern facilities. The property is situated down a quiet laneway and only a short stroll to the main CBD of Ballina, which is situated on the banks of the Richmond River, the perfect place for a coffee or fish and chips. The perfect holiday accommodation. MacNicol Cottage in Ballina was designed and built with accessibility for all travellers in mind. There is ramp access, extra wide doorways, and one ensuite bathroom without a shower nob, screen or curtain, which allows for easy access. There are handrails and plenty of room for wheelchairs to access both the basin and toilet. We have an area beside the queensize bed suitable for a hoist. The laundry has a front load washer and dryer for at an easily accessible height.
