Riviera Caravan Park is located at Sussex Inlet on the of NSW. The main attractions here are fishing, prawning and boating on the river or out into St Georges Basin, quite a large body of water and a great place to ski. Bring your own, or hire a boat or houseboat. The area is nice and flat for the riding of bicycles, and well serviced by concrete bike paths, away from the roads. Fishing is the main pastime here, there being easy access to fishing in the St Georges basin or the river, by either your own boat, or a hire unit. We hire boats, canoes and push bikes and we have a boat ramp, jetty, and fish cleaning facilities at the park. Blackfish are the most common fish caught in the river, but the bream and flathead are close behind. There are literally miles of beaches, 5 mile beach being just one of them, it starts right at the river mouth and runs east. Depending on the season, flathead, whiting, bream. tailor, salmon, and dart are just some of the species available. Rock fishing from low and relatively safe positions are in walking distance. After the fishing would come prawning, sitting in a boat or canoe at night, with a light on the water and scooping them up as they come past heading down the river to go out to sea. It is a very pleasant experience on a warm and balmy night, only surpassed by the cooking and eating of the catch.

The area around beautiful Jervis Bay is ideal for walking trails, bird watching, horse-riding, bushwalking, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, swimming, sailing, boating, water-skiing, jet-skiing, go reef fishing for that big fish, go for a kayak adventure. Visit Pt Perpendicular Lighthouse to try some whale watching. Take a short drive to visit to Mogo Zoo or the cheese factories in the nearby towns of Bodalla, Bega, Tilba.
