Simpson Cottage built in the 1860s was the original home of the Simpson family one of the first settlers south of the Hacking River. Sensitvely restored, this 3 bedroom cottage provides a unique experience, where you can enjoy the charm of the old cottage with stylish contemporary living with fantastic water and National Park views. Simpson Cottage is a perfect house for 2 families, couples, a group of friends or mid week away days for small businesses. The Cottage has 3 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 8, Queen bed with water views, King bed or 2 singles, 2 bunk beds sleeping 4. A sitting room with original features including open fireplace, high ceilings and French doors, TV & DVD in sitting room, Bose iPod docking station. There is a new timber extension containing bathroom, kitchen, small dining area & laundry with under floor heating, bathroom with freestanding bath and separate shower, laundry with washing machine & dryer. The kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge, electric oven cooktop & coffee machine. Gazebo is the main indoor dining area that seats 8 people with ceiling fan & heater. There are large oil heaters in the sitting room and bedrooms. Linen included except for towels.
