By retaining many quirky features and fixtures reminiscent of rambling old Australian beach houses, Moonya Beach house offers an atmosphere that is unusually stylish due to the generous proportions and beautiful pieces of art. Set amongst eucalyptus trees, the house presents a bird’s eye view from the balcony into the sparkling waters of Port Hacking and across the harbour to Buraneer Bay. The banquet tables with a seating capacity of 16, allow for the option of indoor or outdoor dining on a generous scale. Alternatively there are various options for more intimate or casual dining. Summer evenings at Moonya are usually spent with glasses of wine and a barbeque on the balcony, under the watchful stare of Kookaburras. In winter help yourself to the huge pile of firewood and snuggle up in the fire nook, accessing the library of books, music and DVD’s. Alternatively soak up the morning sun on the day bed in the downstairs seaward window. Three bedrooms. Sleeps nine in two queen size beds, one double bed, two divans in living room, one divan in downstairs bedroom. Two bathrooms & two separate toilets, fully equipped laundry and drying/ironing facilities. Spacious living room with flat screen TV. DVD player & stereo. Fully equipped stainless steel galley kitchen with dishwasher. Large balcony with double four poster day bed and barbeque. Warmed in winter by open log fire and electric wall panels or cooled by ceiling fans in summer.
