Sands Motel is the only motel in beautiful Maroubra and is 3-Star accommodation in a perfect location! A short stroll from the famous Maroubra surfing beach, we offer traditional service with modern accommodation facilities. We are like a friendly first-rate country motel and pub – only ours is just 20 minutes from both the centre of Sydney City and the airport! The Sands Motel has a AAA 3-star rating. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. All rooms are non-smoking and serviced daily. All rooms have: a double bed and two single beds; ensuite bathroom; reverse-cycle air conditioning; TV with free-to-air and Foxtel channels; toaster, microwave and fridge; tea and coffee making facilities; an iron and ironing board; access to coin-operated laundry; free wifi (wireless internet access). Deluxe rooms are larger, with queen-sized beds, a full bath, a kitchenette sink and an outside balcony. Some are available with interconnecting doors, ideal for big families. The motel has its own separate entrance area, and there is always plenty of safe off-street parking available.
