It is a popular base for exploring the rugged beauty of the vast National Park. Enjoy a swim in the pool or walk over to Jabiru Pools olympic size swimming pool with marked lanes for lap swimming. Barbeque Grills and Outdoor Pool. Activities and Services for Children A Childcare Centre operated by the Local Government Council provides casual care on weekdays between 0730-1700. Babysitting options depend on availability of sitter. There are 2 meeting and conference rooms available - Jim Jim Room and Nourlangie A and B which can be paritioned into two seperate rooms. Function rooms can be used for Meetings, Conferences, Lectures, Seminars and Private Dinners. Twin Falls set in a gorge and two hundred metre high Jim Jim Falls are a must see. Jim Jim and Twin Falls do not flow throughout the Dry Season, however if there has been a reasonable Wet Season the falls can run until late August. Must Do - 4WD tours are available to the Waterfalls and this popular trip provides a unique and enjoyable day for people who enjoy the outdoors at its best. Whats New - Gunbalanya Community Open day held every 2nd sat in Aug offers cultural activities, helicopter flights over Arnhem land and walks to rock art sites.
