People come to Brisbane for all sorts of reasons. If you are planning a visit to Brisbane, whatever the reason, Eskdale Bed and Breakfast will suit you. We are located in West End, just 2 km by bus from the city centre and just a 10-minute walk from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on a driving holiday. We have off-street undercover parking and we are only 2 minutes from the South East Freeway—part of Australias Route 1 and the direct route to the Gold Coast. Travelling by train, bus or plane The Airtrain rail service from the airport comes direct to Vulture Street and the Skytrans bus shuttle will drop you at the door. The Brisbane Transit Centre—where all trains and long-distance buses stop—is just two stations along the railway or a short taxi trip away. Sightseeing -The Southbank Parklands, the Queensland Museum and the Art Gallery are all on the way to the city centre and the Brisbane River is 15 minutes walk in almost any direction. Experiencing the real Australia Eskdale is a typical old Queensland house built in West End—a suburb that was the premier address of its day and is now Brisbane's most cosmopolitan and interesting place to live. Studying at The University of Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology are both just across the river and the Conservatorium of Music and College of Art campuses of Griffith University are even closer. And most of the English-language schools are nearby.
