Sea Shanties has a beautiful 1 acre spot on the weaterfront of Amity Point, North Stradbroke Island - a ferry ride across from South East Brisbane. Sea Shanties is still known locally as the old fishing village or by its former name of Amity Point Holiday Village. Our regular visitors will appreciate that the best features of the village have been retained but we have changed our name to reflect the improvements to both cabins and facilities. Our cabins are basic but comfortable with a double bed and double bunks in each cabin. They are fully equipped with hot plates and oven, cutlery and crockery - just bring your own sheets, doona and towels. For more than 50 years our cabins have hosted hundreds of people seeking simple pleasures and a hassle free get away from it all holiday. Fishermen, divers and snorkellers adore our waterfront location and families enjoy being able to relax with kids and pets on our acre of grass and shady trees.

Attractions and Activities
North Stradbroke Island offers many opportunities to view a myriad of sea birds, dolphins and Humpback whales. There are many festivals and community events held on Straddie including the Lines in the Sand arts festival, Salute Triathlon, Assault Surfing Competition, Vibe Music Festival as well as 4WD tours, surf school and diving trips.
