Palm Valley Motel is situated just 15 minutes drive south of Gladstone & 550km north of Brisbane, Tannum Sands is linked by bridge to its twin town Boyne Island. Tannum Sands is renowned for its beautiful Millennium Esplanade & great sandy beaches, just 10km off the Bruce Highway by sealed road. We are located within a five minutes walk to the magnificent Millennium Esplanade, Tannum Sands Life Saver Patrolled Beach & Hotel & Restaurants. Shops are close by as well as boat ramps & ample of quiet spots for river & beach fishing. There is over 17 Km's of water front walking & cycle-ways. Tannum Beach is patrolled by the Queensland Surf Life Saving Association. The Boyne River separates Tannum Sands from Boyne Island & runs inland to meet Awoonga Dam, there's plenty of quiet spots to wet a line, water ski or launch your boat.
