The Lodge is an award winning Queenslander pole home, just one and a half kms from the beach. Guest accommodation,separate to the main house, is fully ensuite. We have a great swimming pool with a waterfall feature - it has just got to be the best in the area. The lush tropical grounds with lots of native plants attract scores of birds and butterflies, including the Ulysses. A daily visitor to the Lodge is the regal Cassowary. We serve the yummiest brekky on offer in all Queensland (probably !!). And how good is this folks - we offer complimentary drinks - tea, coffee, soft drinks and BEER - how good is that. If you really insist, you can have a go on our ride-on mower - two hours should do the trick. Laundry and catering facilities are here, and of course Wireless Internet access.
