Cairns Beaches Holiday Accommodation
Clifton Beach,located 22kms north of Cairns,is a laid back coastal resort which has not been overly developed. The moderate swell and provision of stinger nets makes it popular with groups and families. Attractions and activities include Kuranda State Forest, rainforest walks and Great Barrier Reef tours, snorkelling, diving and sailing, golf, marlin and reef fishing and 4WD tours.
Trinity Beach is a beautiful sheltered curved beach is located 20km north of Cairns. Attractions and activities include snorkelling, swimming inside the stinger nets, BBQs along the beach, reef cruises and fishing tours.
Yorkeys Knob is a windswept beach popular for water sports and is located 17kms north of Cairns. Attractions and activities include kite surfing, wind surfing and jet skiing along the beach, or utilise the world-class facilities of Half Moon Bay Marina and the Half Moon Bay Golf Club around the point. Ride the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Culture Park, both only five minutes from Yorkeys Knob.
