Whitsunday Sands Resort is an ideal location for tourists, locals or for anyone who wishes to unwind, relax and escapre the business of life. Paradise has never been so affordable. The Resort is set amongst acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. The wildlife such as rock wallabies, possums, euchidna, bush turkeys and many different species of birds are in abundance. It is like an island on the mainland and is surrounded by secluded beaches, with the nudist beach 500 mtrs away. Each winter months whales can be seen just off shore resting their calves and the large sea turtle come to lay there eggs on the beach at Horseshoe Bay. The fishing is great, people swim all year round or you can relax with a good book on one of the many beaches. There are plenty of walking tracks that take you through lots of bush and great scenery as well as some historic places. there are many different styles of accommodation at the Resort which suit most tastes and budgets.
