Windmill Motel and Reception Centre is the ideal place to host your next function. We specialize in Weddings, Celebrations, Conferences, Seminars, Training Workshops and more, with facilities capable of seating up to 500 people. Based in Mackay, Queensland, Australia, Windmill Mackays largest Reception Centre is very popular with people from Mackay and it's outlying towns and regions. The design of the Windmill Motel and Reception Centre is based on typical Australian architecture of the early part of the century and is ideal for our warmer weather, with verandahs and bull nose awnings allowing for the natural flow of our cool ocean breezes. The Windmill offers 42 beautifully appointed suites with five styles of accommodation, ranging from comfortable single/double/family studios, triple and family suites, self contained family units to executive and spa studios. During planning, special consideration was taken to accommodate our disabled customers. Our accommodation is spacious with tasteful decorative timber themes, all rooms have broadband access and reverse cycle air-conditioning for your comfort. Our suites have been designed to enable corporate clients access and space to work in their rooms with desks, data points and power points conveniently placed for the use of electronic communication equipment. The Windmill is located in Mackay, one of Queenslands best kept secrets. Mackay combines country hospitality with a balance of all the attractions.
