Welcome to Cape House B and B Goolwa, South Australia. Enjoy the warmth and comfort of this heritage zoned, self-contained, circa 1869, stone cottage. Recently restored and refurbished to a luxury standard, Cape House is a magical blend of the character of yesteryear with the comfort of today. With three bedrooms Cape House can accommodate up to six guests, two in each of the queen size, four poster, bedrooms and two in the double bedroom. On cool nights you can relax in the lounge in front of the fireplace, perhaps watching a movie, reading a book, or just enjoying a complimentary bottle of wine or a glass of port after dinner. Outside, you can enjoy Goolwas wonderful climate in the lovely cottage gardens or dine in the private courtyard under the plum tree. The recently remodelled bathroom has luxury appointments, there is a separate dining room to enjoy a romantic evening for two or a dinner party for six and the kitchen is set up with gourmet cuisine in mind and even includes an espresso machine for those coffee lovers amongst us. Situated in the historic River Port of Goolwa, Cape House is located within easy walking distance of the town centre, local cafes, pubs and restaurants, art galleries, the wharf including the cockle train station the Steam Exchange Brewery, riverside walks, fishing, river cruises and many other local attractions. It is only a short drive to Goolwa Beach or Hindmarsh Island where you will find the mouth of the River Murray.
