Commenced trading in early January 2004 as "Adelaide's Shakespeare Backpackers International Hostel". Everyone knows us as "SHAKEYS". In May 2001, we came up with the brilliant idea to open a backpackers hostel in the heart of Adelaide City. In the heart of the Backpacker District in Adelaide CBD. Stones-throw from University of South Australia, Central Bus Station, Chinatown, Central Markets, Hindley Street, Convention Centre, Light Square Pubs and Clubs.
