Pedler Cottage Bed & Breakfast is a delightful 1940’s cedar cottage restored by the Scarpantoni’s and is located on the historic Oxenberry Farm site in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region. Like the Oxenberry Farm cellar door, it features a beautiful outlook over the vineyards, and also the overall wetland area that attracts local wildlife including wild ducks and other birds, which adds to the relaxing experience of staying at the Cottage.
The proximity to the Shiraz Trail makes the cottage an ideal place to stay for those wishing to explore the regional attractions by foot or bicycle. Being so centrally located, it also makes walking to local restaurants, cafés and other attractions a breeze.
The Cottage is fully self-contained, with two bedrooms (both with comfortable queen size beds), provisions for cooked and continental style breakfasts, along with fresh fruit and a complimentary bottle of delicious Oxenberry wine, plus a selection of exceptional Belgian chocolates from Bracegirdle’s House of Fine Chocolates whom we share our nearby cellar door with.
Guests of Pedler Cottage are offered Oxenberry wines at a discounted price in our nearby cellar door; simply introduce yourself to our friendly staff whilst enjoying a taste of our delicious wines, and indulge in the treats offered by Bracegirdle’s, including excellent coffees, a wide range of desserts, light meals and of course, exceptional chocolates.
