Historic Semaphore House offers a home away from home. It allows complete independence while still being in a friendly, supportive environment. Cook in your own kitchen when it suits you. Come and go as you wish. There are outside tables and chairs for you to relax or get to know others, a gas BBQ, bicycles, a table tennis table and other sports equipment such as beach volleyball, badminton & a footy. There is also a coin operated washing machine, an outside clothesline, plus vacuum cleaner and other cleaning items for all tenants to use. The city & universities are easy & quick to reach. Historic Port Adelaide is 2 minutes away. The large, modern West Lakes Shopping Mall & famous AAMI Football Stadium are an easy bus ride away & the beach is virtually at your doorstep. All units have their own unique character & charm. There is a phone connection in each unit and they are furnished with single or double bed & mattress, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, desk, lamp, chair, settee (not all units), kitchen table and chairs, stove, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery and cooking pans & utensils. There is also reverse cycle air con [heating as well as cooling] in each unit as well as a TV. Semaphore House, with its mix of Australian & International students is a great place to live.
