The Yardarm B and B Holiday Unit is located near the Port Lincoln Hospital, Nursing Home and Medical Clinic and makes a convenient stopover for appointments, treatments and visits. We are also close to the Flinders Theatre, Port Lincoln CBD, bowling club, high school, takeaway food outlets, Centenary Oval and city bus stops. Member of the Eyre Peninsula Tourism Association. Magnificent harbour view from outdoor sundeck. Guest entrance, parking at door. Studio style room, double & single beds, ensuite and Complete privacy. Yardarnm - From Encyclopedia of Sailing is the outer quarters of the yard that part which lies outboard of the square sail yard lift on either port or starboard side. The sun over the yardarm is a traditional saying from the years of Tall Ships to indicate it is time for a morning drink. The direction of the sun in Northern latitudes at 11am or thereabouts was the signal for the officers to slip below deck to enjoy their first drink of the day.
