Baird Bay Ocean Eco Apartments were completed in 2002. They are architecturally designed and of rammed earth construction to blend with the beach side environment. There are two units, one single storey and one two storey, separated in the middle by a generous BBQ and entertainment area, which affords each unit its own privacy, or allows everyone to enjoy evening drinks together while the sun sets across the Bay. The units are designed to accommodate singles, doubles or whole families and groups. Baird Bay is a remote and isolated fishing village located on the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. The Bay and its surrounds offers a range of experiences such as swimming with Sea Lions and Dolphins, beach, boat or rock fishing, bush walking, bird watching and simply beachcombing on deserted beaches. Its a place to getaway or hideaway, and experience the natural wonders of the Australian coastal outback bush and its wildlife. Out here, at the end of the day, you will be able to take the shoes off, kick back, and relax. We have many different activities available ranging from fishing, to swimming with the local wildlife and educational tours for schools or overseas visitors alike. Now with our brand new accomodation units you can stay for a few days and really enjoy the whole experience.
