Island Time is a modern holiday home only 200 metres from the pristine waters of Vivonne Bay. Island Time sleeps 4 people with 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. All linen is supplied including sheets, doonas with covers, pillowcases, also towels, flannels and tea towels. The house is fully equipped with a modern kitchen with oven, hotplate, microwave, refrigerator, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Modern bathroom with shower and toilet personal soap and shampoo for each guest. A comprehensive range of videos and compact discs. Tea, coffee and sugar is initially supplied, all other food, drinks etc can be obtained at the general store. Vivonne Bay was voted the best beach in Australia in 2003 in a comparison of 10,000 beaches and its not too hard to see why, even in mid summer you can be the only person on 20k of pristine beach. To the north it sweeps around 3 headlands to Seal Bay and at its southern end is the only safe harbour on the south coast of Kangaroo Island and home to the islands lobster fishing fleet. There is great fishing from the beach or jetty, also safe swimming by the jetty and good surfing along the beach. In season penguins can be seen nesting and swimming at the southern end. Perfect for long, quiet walks or just relaxing on the beach.
