Travel along Victoria St to the Caledonian Inn, turn left into Davenport St. The units are on the left after the second cross road. Robe is a small fishing and tourism town on Guichen Bay in the South East of South Australia. It was founded in 1846 and became one of the main ports in S.A. in the 1860s. Many of the old buildings erected in the early days remain giving the town character and charm. Robe offers coastal trails, national parks, wineries and beautiful beaches for walking, swimming and surfing. Robe today has a thriving cray fishing industry season October to May and a rapidly developing viticulture and aquaculture industry.
