This quiet heritage listed park offers shelter, shade, green grassy sites and friendly service. The park is a short stroll to the beach and Robe town centre - known for its historic buildings, quality restaurants, antique shops and art galleries. A scenic coastal walk or drive delivers breathtaking views of Robes beaches and fishing boat harbour. Many visitors return year after year to Robe to experience the simple pleasures of swimming, boating, fishing, diving or surfing. No visit is complete without indulging in our fresh local crayfish. For others, the local wineries with their cellar door sales and tastings are a must, with Coonawarra only an hours drive away. Experience The Obelisk shipping marker. Built in 1855, the alternating white and red bands helped guide mariners to shore. The Old Gaol held prisoners from 1860 to 1881. A crumbling ruin until 1995, the goals walls have been restored and are great to explore.
