Edithburgh House is a grand two story building that dates back to the late 19th century when it first provided board and lodgings to the workers of the Castle Salt Company. Today it offers its guests the best Award Winning, hosted Bed and Breakfast style accomodation to be found anywhere on the Southern Yorke Peninsula. It is the ideal place for a romantic getaway or for a group of friends to share a few days together. Upstairs there are four luxury bedrooms with ensuites and a sitting room all decorated in the Early Victorian Style. The rooms offer all the charm of yesteryear with all the modern luxuries of today. The use of heritage colours, antiques, flowers, lace and quality linen add greatly to the character of the rooms. All accommodation is adjacent to a common balcony where you can relax, dine or enjoy a glass of wine while overlooking the town, jetty, Troubridge Island and the Wattle Point Wind Farm in the distance.The balcony has also been used to great success for small weddings, birthday celebrations or just a spot to unwind and enjoy a cappuccino and cake. Downstairs a buffet style breakfast is served by your hosts Mike & Trish next to an open fire (in Winter) with a hot breakfast cooked to order. Faversham's Restaurant, the reception area and a quaint, nautical gift store and coffee shop providing fresh espresso, coffee cakes and light lunches in the summer time.
