Barokee House is a recently restored 1930s stone built home, tastefully renovated and furnished in a style to compliment the era. This beautiful home can be found in the small, friendly township of Warooka. The bedrooms are furnished to the highest standard with comfort in mind after a long fantastic day at the Innes National Park. In every room you will find clean towels, hair dryers, electric blankets, bathing products and dressing gowns to ensure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Port and Chocolates await the adventurer staying at Barokee House after visiting the incomparable parks and beaches of York Peninsula. Large luxurious fully tiled bathroom to provide a luxurious and hygienic setting, is serviced with beautiful fresh rainwater, just the place to wash away the grime of a long enjoyable day down on the beach. Barokee House offers disability access facilities, compromising of hand basin, wheelchair access toilet, very big shower, wheelchair access and hand rails. Adjacent to the rear of Barokee House is the recently opened tea-rooms. Enjoy the Ye Olde Worlde atmosphere in this traditional tea room. The dining is delightful comprising of freshly cooked daily, light lunches, afternoon teas and delicious coffees.

Warooka, near Point Turton is a delightful town overlooking the calm waters of Hardwicke Bay and just two and a half hours from Adelaide. It offers miles of beaches, reefs for walking, shell collecting. The beaches of Yorke Peninsula are great places to go swimming, surfing, fishing or on a family picnic. The Yorke Peninsula Coast is one of the state’s premier surfing destinations, where many major surfing and body boarding competitions are held. Attractions and activities include swimming, boating, sailing and snorkelling, fishing, sailboarding, kayaking and crabbing, water skiing and marina, golfing, tennis and walking. Explore Innes National Park, historic jetties, and wind-farms, the Home Grown Trail, the Underwater Dive Trail and the Geology Trail in the region.
