The Garden House is a peaceful self-contained retreat overlooking the D'Entrecasteaux Channel - a birdwatcher's delight. We welcome you to our self-contained garden house with a spacious living area and private terrace in a beautiful setting of mature trees, lawns and shrubs. The view to Bruny Island from Tulendena. The Garden House patio It is tastefully furnished with quality fittings and features a cosy woodheater and all modern catering equipment. Kettering is the ideal place for visiting the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, particularly if you are travelling the Huon Trail, or spending some time on Bruny Island. The property, five acres of landscaped gardens, attracts an abundance of wildlife, including the rare species of bird - the Forty Spotted Pardalote - unique to this part of Tasmania. Why not make Tulendena your base and take a few days to enjoy some of the great attractions the local area has to offer? Our luxury (non-smoking) accommodation is fully equipped for up to four people and is a tranquil, secluded haven. You will have exclusive access to the Garden House during your stay. Entrance is via your driveway to your own front door which ensures your privacy. Tulendena features two beautifully designed bedrooms, each with luxury queen sized beds, that look out over the surrounding gardens. The accommodation includes a well appointed bathroom/toilet and separate shower room. Thermostats control the underfloor heating.
