The Old Woodbridge Rectory is a traditional BnB where guests relax while being served. It is located in the lush countryside of orchards, vineyards and pastures alongside Peppermint Bay on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Woodbridge is just a 30 minute drive south of Hobart. The Rectory was built around 1900 with views to the Channel and Bruny Island. It has been tastefully restored to reflect its history without compromising comfort or amenities. We have two beautifully appointed queen size bedrooms and colourful cottage gardens - great to sit, relax and take in the scenery. Both the Maple and Rose rooms have queen-sized beds with electric blankets. Both bedrooms have their own lounge, heating, clock radio and tea and coffee making facilities. They also have private and modern ensuites. A babies cot is also available. While staying with us at The Old Woodbridge Rectory there are many close-by attractions and experiences. Experience Peppermint Bay Restaurant 200 metres east - easy walking distance for fine dining and produce from the Provedore. Bruny Island Adventure Bay 4 kms North - only a five minute drive to the Bruny Island Ferry. Woodbridge Hill Handweaving Studio and Gardens 2 kms West only a five minute drive. See handwoven fibres and products and take a walk through the gardens.
