Wavestation Middleton is just perfect for a romantic weekend. Ideal for honeymoon couples or two couples to share. Settle in and use as a base to explore southern Tasmania, the cherry farms, exciting Bruny Island and the Historic Huon trail. Venture to the southern most part of Australia or drive up Mt Wellington. It's a great place to base you holiday. You can just sit and read and watch the passing parade of boats on the water from the veranda. Wavestation is a charming heritage waterfront farmhouse. It is one of the finest coastal properties in Tamania.The house offers quiet seclusion but easy access to activities such as birdwatching, fishing and boating. Close by is a boat ramp and a quiet beach with children's play equipment. The local store and service station is a five minute walk. Kayaks can be hired at the picturesque port of Ketterring where the ferry leaves for Bruny Island.It is a pleasure to dine at the award winning Peppermint Bay Hotel at Woodbridge a few kilometres away. The two bedroom house has a well appointed kitchen with generous living areas, including large verandah and gazebo. One bedroom has a kingsize sleigh bed, the other twin beds. It's perfect for a couple to have a quiet time or two couples to share. Outdoors, you will have plenty of room to move in our extensive lawns and garden.
