Sandpiper Ocean Cottages offer three fully self contained, private and secluded cottages, only a 50 metre walk onto the pristine white sandy beach. Full kitchen, laundry and log fire. Spacious and homely, with complimentary port and cookies. Breakfast provisions provided if required. Bicheno is located on the east coast of Tasmania, 195 km from Hobart and 165 km from Launceston. The region is famous for its mild climate throughout the year, with no winter frosts or fogs. Bicheno is surrounded by 30,000 hectares of nature reserves and - with its long white sandy beaches - has been described as an artists and photographers paradise. The region offers numerous tantalising half and full-day tours to world-famous heritage areas, including Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay. Three Ocean Cottages - Eight kilometres north of Bicheno at beautiful Denison Beach are Ocean Cottages, three delightful, secluded fully self-contained two bedroom cottages. A short walk through the dunes and you can walk for kilometres along the pristine white sandy beach or fish from the beach.
