Welcome to Bed in the Treetops, an award winning, luxuriously appointed Bed and Breakfast hideaway nestled high on an 80 acre property at the Bay of Fires, situated on Tasmania's beautiful North East Coast. Bed in the Treetops has been architecturally designed and is constructed using whole Celery Top pine logs and various other Tasmanian timbers. We offer a choice of two private, luxury, open plan spa suites, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Both suites adjoin the hosts residence at ground floor level, and each has its own private entry and sun deck. It is perched 160 metres above sea level, and enjoys spectacular sweeping views of Binalong Bay, Moulting Bay, Georges Bay, St Helens Island and the Southern Ocean. Some amazing local birdlife is part of a Bed in the Treetops experience, such as kookaburras, sea eagles, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, parrots and rosellas. You can even observe wallabies, possums, echidnas and wombats on their night-time wanderings. Even though you are a world away from the everyday hustle and bustle, you are only minutes from the white sands and crystal waters of Binalong Bay and the Bay of Fires. A short drive will have you bushwalking in nearby National Parks or State Reserves or maybe exploring quaint coastal villages. We also offer complimentary afternoon tea, or pre-dinner drinks and nibbles on arrival.
