Explore the river using our canoes and collect your own oysters. You may well wish to do the 2½-hour coastal walk or even try a round of golf at the world class Barnbougle Dunes Links course,5 minutes drive. A short drive will take you to the lavender farm, wineries, waterfalls and mountain walks. Activities - From Bridport, its a comfortable drive to visit the spectacular purple-striped fields of the Bridestowe Lavender Farm, Cool-climate vineyards along the Tamar Wine Route, Seahorse World at Beauty Point, St. Columba Falls, Beach walks and wildlife of Mt William National Park, Forest Eco Centre in Scottsdale, Historic mining towns of Derby, Gladstone and Weldborough, on the Trail of the Tin Dragon.
