The Low Head Tourist Park provides the perfect resting point for those wishing to explore the historic Tamar Valley region and experience the sometimes raw, sometimes tranquil but always beautiful waters of Bass Strait and the majestic Tamar River. Explore East Beach, the Tamar River, Low Head Lighthouse, Maritime Museum and Pilot Station, Fairy Penguin Parade, and Historic George Town. Drive the wine route and what ever you do dont miss lunch at Pipers Brook Vineyard. Take to the water for a fishing or dive charter, Seal and Sea Adventure Tour, or visit Seahorse World and Platypus House. There is plenty to see and do, so stop and rest awhile. The Low Head Tourist Park offers affordable accommodation of a very high standard to suit a variety of budget conscious travellers. Our 12 large self contained park cottages are ideal for two to six people, beautifully appointed with queen size beds, air conditioning, large bathrooms, well equipped kitchens, and a balcony to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Tamar River. Low Head Tourist Park also has six economy cabins with two to five berth with double beds, air conditioning, cooking and bathroom facilities, as well as providing powered, unpowered and ensuite sites, a new amenities block, disabled facilities, campers kitchen and laundry. We cater for caravans, motor-homes, campervans and campers. All sites have a view of the Tamar River.
