Egremont provides an opportunity to live in the ambience of Art Nouveau style with modern comforts. Every bedroom is a restful environment with access to modern bathroom facilities. Outside the cocoon of ones room are the formal facilities such as the reading room, the large sitting room with expansive views over the city, the dining room and the wine cellar. Surrounded by a restful garden, Egremont provides a tranquil haven for both holiday maker and business traveller. After taking breakfast in the the dining room, guests have access to tea and coffee at all times, and in the evening complementary cakes and port are set out for guests' pleasure. Licensed to serve alcohol, Egremont has a well stocked wine cellar which provides guests the opportunity to experience Tasmanian and other Australian wines. Cheese platters are also available to complement your wine selection. Egremont is a non-smoking environment both within the house and in the grounds, thus offering guests enhanced health and security benefits. For guests who experience health problems during their stay, Egremont has an arrangement with a leading medical practice in the town to provide health care to its guests. Each room contains a luxurious queen sized bed, and an additional single bed is available as required. A portable cot is also available for young children. Egremont, a classic family home, provides a quality heritage experience which welcomes families.
