Orfords Sanda House, (old Post Office) in 1ac of cottage garden, roses, bulbs, natives, orchard, chooks, birds and Chester the dog. Stone-built in 1840, Sanda has a quiet, relaxing ambience. 3 bedrooms are for guests, furnished with our collection of antiques, with all the comforts, whilst not interfering with the original colonial look and feel. The Rose room (dble, most romantic) was the original kitchen, has a wood fire, stone floor and walls and private bathroom. Own door to front porch. Only room for couples with friendly, well behaved dog (own room next to Rose room -$10 extra). Jasmine (double) is an original bedroom, as is Wisteria (twin beds). These charming rooms have ensuite, wood floor & stone walls.Tariff incls b’fast of cereal, yoghurt, filter coffee, our own bread, jams and fruit from our orchard. Walk to local wood-fired pizza/pasta, beach, river. Excellent 9 hole golf course. Make us your base for day trips to Freycinet, Port Arthur, and beautiful Maria Island.
