Idyllic, tranquli, pristine. Enjoy the beauty of Tasmania's own Sunshine Coast at Pelican Sands Scamander. We are the proud new Owner Managers of this wonderful waterfront location. Imagine outside your unit the beautiful lagoon, the estuary of the Scamander River, the sea birds and the sight and sound of the waves. The sand is clean, strewn only with sea shells and the water turquoise & clear. For those special weekends, or longer, we have brand new spa units; "pecial extras upon request and packages can be arranged. For families a safe place for chidren to paddle and play right on the beachfront of the lagoon in the warm shallows, often with only the Pelicans and Seagulls for company. There is a children's playground and a fenced solar heated salt pool to enjoy as well. Naturally BBQ's and laundry facilities are complimetary. We are licensed with a quality wine list for guests and can provide cheese and fruit platters upon request. We have recently undertaken a major refurbishment of our units, adding 2 luxurious spa units, double and family units to our portfolio. All are fully self contained with quality appliances, linen and furnishings. everything that you could need for a comfortable holiday. If you want to dine out, there are several excellent alternatives nearby. If you have a special request, say for a 4-wheel drive excursion, or a deep sea fishing adventure, wwe will book these for you in advance. So come, enjoy, relax see you soon.
