This charming Georgian property (circa 1840) boasts a commanding central position in Swansea, on Tasmanias pristine East Coast. Tubby and Padmans has breathtaking views across Oyster Bay to the Freycinet Peninsula. We are within easy walking distance of quiet beaches, mouth-watering restaurants and galleries. Indulge yourselves - relax in the privacy of your own heritage suite or modern apartment at Tubby and Padmans Swansea accommodation. Greg and Sue welcome you to their home. All accommodation types have private entrances. Provisions for continental and/or full cooked breakfasts, are included to enjoy at your leisure. Accommodation at this delightful Georgian property consists of heritage suites and modern apartments. Within the rambling, timeless old homestead there are 2 luxury heritage suites - Pepper and Baudin. Pepper derives its name from the aged pepper tree outside its entry door, and Baudin is named after the French explorer, Nicolas Baudin. Both suites have panoramic water views. The traditional elegant décor and quality furnishings reflect an era of days long gone by. The building has taken many forms during its history. During the 1960s, when it was a nursing home, a more contemporary wing was added to the back of the property. Now refurbished, this wing comprises 2 modern apartments - a 1-bedroom apartment (Shell) , a 2-bedroom spa apartment (Willow).
