The River House, set in two hectares of garden and bush, was built in 1955 as a family residence with substantial additions made in 1986. Major interior renovations and refurbishment have been undertaken, very visible with new bathrooms, polished floor boards and new window dressings all round. This lovely family home was situated to take advantage of full river views in a very peaceful, quiet and tranquil location. In the evening, the lights on the fast developing western shore provide a twinkling carpet reflected in the Tamar River. We believe it is a wonderful spot, not quite in the city, not quite in the county, but rather where they both meet, providing you with further options for your Launceston accommodation.
