Cape Conran Coastal Park is located near Marlo in Eastern Victoria, Australia, 396km. from Melbourne. The park consists of 11,700 hectares of coastal wilderness. It fronts onto 60 kilometers of isolated sandy beaches facing south over rugged Bass Strait. The park also has heathlands and banksia woodlands brimming with nectar-feeding birds. Each year the park plays host to campers and nature lovers from around Australia and the world. Whether it be fishing, surfing, nature walks or just lazing around and catching up on your reading the park has something for everyone. Carla and Josh Puglisi are the park managers and they will be happy to take your bookings, and make your stay at the park as safe and enjoyable as possible. There are three levels of accommodation at the park; either camping or a series of seven natural timber cabins which can sleep up to eight people each (they have their own kitchen, toilet and shower.). Other facilities include a lodge equipped with large kitchen, BBQs and log ovens. There are also Wilderness Retreats, perfect for couples, and only a 2 minute walk from the beach. There is stabilized beach access via a wooden walkway from the main cabin area. The camping area is located in banksia woodland nestled behind the foredune.
