Winter brings the excitement of trawling for salmon and tailor in the estuary. The sheltered waters allow fishing year round in most weather conditions. We are only a few minutes drive to a number of surf beaches such as Point Ricardo, famous for its great catches of large salmon, tailor, gummy shark, flathead and mullet.
