Welcome to Apostles Camping Park & Budget Accommodation, situated on the Gellibrand River. Princetown is a small town nestled by the estuary of the beautiful Gellibrand River which runs around the flanks of the mighty Otway ranges. The Great Ocean Road emerges from the Otway ranges to greet the ocean again at Princetown. The limestone cliffs around Princetown are rich in fossils and gemstones and “Australites” have been found along the shores. Princetown lies on the border, between the Otway and Port Campbell National Parks. The famous Twelve Apostles rock formations are just six kilometres to the west of Princetown. Adjacent to the township itself, the river estuary and wetlands, particularly the reed beds on the western branch of the estuary, are significant for their rich bird and plant life.
