Prom Central Caravan Park is central to the Promontory district with a number of short day trips to areas such as Wilsons Promontory, Surf Beaches, Wind Farm, Agnes Falls, Fishing Ports and Turra Bulga National Park. Only a 5 minute walk to the towns shopping and eating establishments. All cabins are full en-suite and have all required utensil's, all you need is you're own bedding or hire from us! Our cabins are very popular so pre booking is recommended on 5682 2440. Our general camping area is always being updated whilst we try to keep that slight feel of roughing it for those who want it, powered sites are available out in the caravan section, this puts you in contact with a wide variety of people all traveling in different directions, which may give you ideas for sightseeing tours that you may not have heard about. The township of Foster can supply all your immediate holiday requirements such as groceries from a choice of 2 supermarkets and 2 butcher shops as well as a seafood supplier, chemist, hardware, newsagent, male & female clothing stores along with post office, banks, restaurants and churches. Tucked away in some of the more scenic areas of the district are some exquisite wineries and home made foods, please see our staff in the office for more information on these cottage industries.
