The Forts and historical buildings are a must to visit. Albany is renowned as one of the most beautiful resorts in Western Australia and is well known for its historical buildings, fishing, sailing, diving, sightseeing, bushwalking & farming to name a few. The coastline is stunning, so visitors should plan to stay a few days to take it all in. Whale-watching late June to October is very exciting and popular. Visitors should not fail to visit the many wineries and Arts & Crafts places in this region - such as in the Porongurps, Mt.Barker and Denmark. You need at least a week. Albany boasts many excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs and Albany View Street B & B is ideally located being within easy walking distance.
