Malbec Cottage - Greedy Sheep is a small producer of premium Margaret River wines. Our estate grown wine range currently consists of a Rose, Shiraz and Cabernet Merlot. Our wines are produced exclusively from grapes grown on our Greedy Sheep vineyard in Cowaramup. Cowaramup is a small township in the centre of the Margaret River Wine Region in Western Australia. The Margaret River wine region is regarded as one of the finest and most consistent wine producing regions in the world. The Story Behind Our Name: In January 2005 around a thousand sheep made their way into the vineyard and proceeded to eat anything green and some grapes within reach. This form of leaf plucking, although cost effective, is generally not recommended. Two en-suite rooms available, either twin or King size beds. Breakfast is served in the beautifully appointed dining room. Relax in front of the log fire at night.
