Lord Howe Island off the east coast of Australia, just a 2 hour flight from Sydney or Brisbane, is one of the world’s most beautiful World Heritage listed islands surrounded by a NSW Marine Park. Warm tropical waters and cooler currents have created a diverse range of marine life, a unique mix of both tropical and temperate water fish...a diving paradise. PRO DIVE take only small numbers of divers on each trip (a maximum of 10) and have a very vibrant reef system with a large variety of both tropical and temperate water marine life. Most dive sites are just a quick 15 minute boat trip from the PRO DIVE shop, so no all-day boat trips to get to the reef. With over 60 dive sites we can cater for divers of all experience levels PRO DIVE owned in partnership by Tas Douglass and Lauren Gatherer was established on Lord Howe Island in 1972. Managed for its first 25 years by Jeff Deacon, PRO DIVE Lord Howe built a strong reputation as Australia’s premier diving destination. A reputation it still holds today. This reputation was earned not only because of the variety and diversity of the marine life & underwater terrain but because of the friendly and hospitable nature of Jeff and his wife Carol.
