We are the most experienced guiding team in the Northern Territory, having operated since 1987. In pioneering the guided fishing industry we have endorsements from many industry partners. Personality's include Rex Hunt, Andrew Ettinghausen, David Green (Fishing World Magazine), Ian Miller (Rod Builder, Journalist), John Dunphy (Shimano), Col Roberts and Rod Harrison (Journalist's) to name but a few. We now offer two great destinations to our customers. First being the magnificent Daly River, and the second, the Ramingining District in Arnhemland. This Daly River is renowned for big, strong, quality barramundi. Every fisher person should experience this great fishing destination at least once. It is truly a fantastic Barra river. Arnhemland is seen as the last truly wild frontier. Our base is located on the banks of the Glyde River. Fed by the Arafura swamp in the wet season, the Glyde and its surrounding areas are a fisherman's heaven. As they say, local knowledge is invaluable when it comes to catching fish. NT Barra Fishing has that local knowledge. NT Barra Fishing has provided people from all over the world with the thrill of catching Australia's premier sport fish, the mighty barra. Anglers of all skill levels are catered for, our guides provide expert tuition on the processes of barra fishing. |
